Magic the Gathering Event Schedule, Rules and Guidelines. We have a DCI judge on staff and have started working with Wizards of the Coast for scheduling sanctioned DCI events, like Friday Night Magic and DCI Sanctioned Tournaments. Friday Night Magic events are designed around new to moderate level players to introduce them to the game of Magic the Gathering in a friendly player environment that is not cut throat competition level play.  Each sanctioned Friday Night Magic event will give each player DCI points and earn them standings in the DCI rankings, any player who has a DCI number is eligible to register for Magic Player Rewards.

Game Start Date Time Entry Description Magic the Gathering DCI Booster Draft 10.21.2008 - 7:00pm $12.00 Booster Draft - 3 boosters of Shards of Alara to draft from. 3 round swiss tournament. Prizes are Friday Night Magic Foil Promotional cards and booster packs to the placing players. Magic the Gathering Friday Night Magic - Standard Constructed 10.24.2008 - 7:00pm $5.00 Standard Constructed using only cards that are currently Standard Format legal. Prizes will be DCI Foil Promotional cards and store credit to the placing players. Payouts will be determined by the number of participants. Magic the Gathering DCI Booster Draft 10.28.2008 - 7:00pm $12.00 Booster Draft - 3 boosters of Shards of Alara to draft from. 3 round swiss tournament. Prizes are Friday Night Magic Foil Promotional cards and booster packs to the placing players. Magic the Gathering Friday Night Magic - Booster Draft 10.31.2008 - 7:00pm $12.00 Booster Draft - 3 boosters of Shards of Alara to draft from. 3 round swiss tournament. Prizes are Friday Night Magic Foil Promotional cards and booster packs to the placing players.

All DCI Magic the Gathering event require 8 players to begin.

* Entry for Magic the Gathering Booster Drafts will be $12.00 per player.  That will give 3 boosters per player to draft from for the event.  At 8 players the prize pool will be 12 boosters of cards to be divided up amongst the winning players, prizes will be determined by the number of players in the drafts.  Total number of paid participants will determine actual prize pool and distributions.

** Standard Constructed events will have a $5.00 entry fee associated with them, the entry fees will be pooled and split up for the top placers of the event and be given as store credit for the winners.

*** Sealed Tournament Deck events are 1 Sealed Tournament Pack and 2 Boosters.  Entry fee will be $20.00 per player.  Prizes will be determined by the number of players in the event.

All Friday Night Magic events require at least 8 players to start.
